Recognition Through the Years

The Del Mundo Foundation, Inc. is grateful to have received recognition for its commitment to serving communities both here and in the Philippines.

On March 3, 2024, the Cal-Nev-Ha Children's Fund, together with the Kiwanis Club of Film-Am Metro Los Angeles, presented its Community Service Award to The Del Mundo Foundation and Dr. Connie Del Mundo, in recognition of service rendered to the community.

On March 28, 2026, Dr. Connie Del Mundo was also honored by Lions Clubs International- District 4-L3 with its Community Excellence Award, recognizing her dedication to community service.

These honors are accepted with gratitude and humility. They are shared with  the volunteers, partners, donors, family and friends whose generosity makes our work possible.

Above all, they remind us why the Foundation was created: to serve, to give hope, and to help transform lives - one community at a time.

Investing in Young Musicians

On September 23, 2026,The Del Mundo Foundation, Inc.  provided  59,445 pesos in financial support to Pototan National Comprehensive High School (NCHS) for the purchase and repair of instruments for its Drum and Lyre Corps.

The contribution helped restore aging instruments and provide needed equipment, giving students greater opportunities to develop their musical skills, confidence, discipline, and teamwork - and to proudly represent their school and community.

We are grateful to Pototan NCHS for allowing the Foundation to be part of this effort.

Supporting young people means investing not only in what they can do today, but also in the dreams and possibilities they carry into the future.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Project Timor - Leste:  A Legacy of Care, A Future of Hope

Timor-Leste is a small Southeast Asian nation occupying the eastern half of the island of Timor, northwest of Australia and east of Indonesia. An hour away by plane from Bali. After centuries of Portuguese rule and years of conflict and Indonesian occupation, the country restores its independence in 2002. Today it has a population of 1.4 million people.

For many years, Timor -Leste has held a special place in our family's heart. A member of our family, the sister of the late Dr. Nandy Del Mundo - Sr. Chita Del Mundo, a Salesian nun, has served there for many years, caring for children whose families face severe economic and personal hardships.

Through Sr. Cecilia Del Mundo, our family began supporting children living in Salesian orphanages, helping four children continue their education through high school.  Their stories showed us how access to education, a safe home, and constant care can open possibilities for a child's future.
