OUR JOURNEY TO HELP OTHERS

The Beginning of Our Mission

Before The Del Mundo Foundation, Inc. was established in 2023, I  had already begun helping families in my hometown during the COVID-19 pandemic. From  2020 to 2022, through my late nephew, Sir Roy Jurilla, who was a public high school teacher. I increasingly became aware of the struggles faced by many families. Some struggled  to put food on the table, had no reliable means of livelihood, and could not afford to send their children  to college.

Together, Roy, our  family, and I began providing rice, food staples, face masks, hand sanitizers and other necessities to those in need. While these efforts brought temporary relief, I realized that people needed more than assistance- they needed opportunities to improve their lives and build a better future.

This realization inspired me to establish The Del Mundo Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, with the goal of bringing together donors and partners who share  the same commitment to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

The Foundation was built on an unshakable conviction that  genuine human connection begins with action. I believe that every act of kindness, no matter how small, creates a ripple effect that can transform a family, strengthen a barangay, uplift a community, and ultimately help make the world a better place .

Today, that belief continues to guide everything we do.
